The installation procedures of the artificial grass begin from the site analysis, planning and the designing. Preparation of the base is a critical stage, in which the professionals dig the soil to a depth of 9 to 10 centimeters, pour the crusher, prepare the edges, compact the base and level it. The next stage is the laying of the artificial grass, edge fixing, and joining. Then they use adhesives, nails, and U-pegs to bind the grass to the base. Pouring the infill, bristling, brushing, and finishing are the final set of procedures. Then the artificial grass supplied and fitted is ready for use in your home garden.

Site Analysis and Planning
The standard width of the grass roll varies between 10-15 feet, and the length is between 50-100 feet. The manufacturers may have the other dimensions also. The first step is to measure the site shape and size. The calculations include the space for trees, plants, fountains, and the other structures in the garden. The experts determine the roll dimension and the numbers. The standard thickness of the grass layer remains the same for most of the manufacturers in the UK. Higher foot traffic areas need shorter pile-height, higher pile-weight, and stronger grass-blade. For the other areas, you may choose the rolls with relatively lower pile-weight.

Base Preparation
We remove the topsoil and dig the base to a depth of 9-10 centimeters evenly all over the site. After removing the stones, soil chunks and other hard materials, they pour a layer of crusher material evenly to a height of 60-70 millimeters. Then they use a plate compactor and a mechanical roller to even the surface.

Edge Fixing
Edges can be wooden planks, concrete slabs, or the metal blocks. They should cover the sides and corners from direct exposure to the external environment. The edges should be installed in such way that the gap between the base and the edge bottom should be equal to the artificial grass thickness. After installing the grass, the experts wrap the sides and corners into the edges and seal securely.
